New product in my store: Lindqvist tea

I have now received a shipment of Lindqvist of Sweden tea in my store. Lindqvist sells different blends of tea, and they carry one for each province in Sweden. Since my company name is "made in bohuslän" I thought it fitting to start carrying "Bohuslän Tea."

This tea is a blend of loose leaf black tea, and has the flavor of common honeysuckle (vildkaprifol).

I cannot seem to get enough of the British tradition of tea and biscuits.

During March, I will be selling this tea, which is packaged in 3.5 oz (100 gr) bags, at an introductory price of $6.00.

What kind of Swedish candy do I sell in my store?

I received some questions about the different kinds of Swedish candy that I am selling.

Here is a list of the candy I will be selling for Easter:

  • Dumle
  • Chocolate wafers (kexchoklad)
  • Läkerol (licorice)
  • Daim
  • Swedish fish
I do not plan to carry candy more than around the big holidays, but if the demand is big I might reconsider.

Swedish candy for the Easter eggs

I am working hard to get my web shop up and running. In the mean time, I will use my blog to promote some of my products.

I am happy to announce that for Easter I will be offering Swedish Easter eggs, which I wrote about in my previous blog post, and Swedish candy. How I have missed these Swedish Easter eggs. Now I won't anymore.

If you want to buy some Swedish Easter eggs and candy, please contact me through this blog, e-mail me, or send me a message on Facebook.

If you want to house a home party and invite some friends, I am happy to come by with my products.

It has been very cold the last few days here in Seattle, and I am hoping my daffodils will survive this cold spell. For what is Easter without daffodils?

Swedish Easter eggs for sale

As most of you probably know, I have kept myself busy starting up my own online retail store selling Swedish and Scandinavian design and home decor. I will also be selling some holiday related products, and what better way to start than with some Swedish Easter eggs.

I have managed to get hold of a bunch of Easter eggs in five different sizes. All eggs depict the traditional Easter bunnies, chickens, and Easter eggs.

Here is a list of the different sizes and how much they cost.
  • 9 cm/3.5", $ 4.50
  • 11 cm/4.5", $ 5.00
  • 14 cm/5.5", $ 5.50
  • 18 cm/7", $ 6.00
  • 23 cm/9", $ 14.00

If you are interesting in purchasing Swedish Easter eggs for your family or friends, send me an email or contact me through Facebook.

Soon I will also be receiving a shipment of Swedish candy, so if you want to fill your Easter egg with some Swedish candy as a special treat to your family or as a gift to a friend, you are more than welcome to pop by my house and select your Easter egg and candy.

The Samis

Today, on February the 6th I will be thinking of the Samis when they celebrate their National Day. Like many indigenous people, the Samis have suffered greatly throughout history.

The Samis mainly live in the northernmost part of Europe. No one knows exactly how many Samis there are,  and the figures vary from 80,000 to 135,000.

Happy Sami National Day!

Amazon party

I have been really busy lately working on my online business, but I thought that I would share some pictures from the Amazon post-Holiday party. The reason why Amazon has the party after Christmas is because Christmas is their busy busy season.

Last Saturday, Christer and I drove to CenturyLink Field in downtown Seattle, where the party took place. This years theme was circus and there were a lot of different activities to entertain the thousands of party goers.

Welcome to the party.

Let's go to the circus.

No circus without cotton candy. However, although cotton candy is nice to look at, I opted out, and, no, I did not bring any back to Z and I. Mean mommy.

A couple of bands were playing. I really liked Young the Giant's alternative rock.

Until next year Amazon.
